The critical compatibility point is not the shed model itself, it’s the live load rating of the pad and the shed’s footprint dimensions. A Tuff Shed Premier Pro Tall with a 10×12 footprint weighs roughly 3,200 pounds dry and concentrates that load on four or six skids depending on the floor joist span. The pad beneath must be compacted to 95% standard Proctor density, with a minimum 4-inch aggregate base in Mission Viejo’s clay-heavy hillside soils, or the skids will rock and fracture the surface.

DIY or Call Us?
