To identify your valve, remove the handle and escutcheon. The model number is stamped on the brass valve body, not the trim you see at the store. If the stamp reads “13/14” or “17,” you need the older cartridge family. If it reads “R10000,” any Delta trim from 2006 forward will fit, which is why we stock both the RP46074 cartridge and the R10000-UNBX rough-in on our Mission Viejo trucks.
